Tried out another type of drafting film today, this one is a double matte surface but is quite a bit lighter in weight. It's a great surface for working on as it's very robust and can handle a pretty rough approach, and a fair bit of work. Pastels have a nice luminescence about them on it.
When the conte is fixed it's tricky to erase but it's easy to fix and redraw, and also to blend. This is a drawing from today, conte, pastel and charcoal on drafting film A4 size. Not a high resolution photo as it is snapped with the phone.
